ATLASS OS · the business operating system for contractors

ATLASS OS — the operating system your business runs on.

CRM, jobs, books, payroll, phone and field apps are not integrations. They are one database, one memory, one set of doors. One ledger. One timeline. One API. Built in Alberta by a roofer; the first customer is his own company.

Why an operating system

Not four apps that don't talk. An operating system.

QuickBooks for the books, Jobber for the jobs, a CRM for the leads and your phone for everything in between: every seam is a leak, and every automation only sees its own app. On ATLASS a phone call, an estimate, a job-site photo, a pay cheque and a journal entry all point at the same customer, location and project — so one event can move the whole business.

Grow

CRM, the ACAT timeline of every call, text and email, canvassing, mailed letters, the website catalog.

Deliver

Jobs and Boards, crew time that tracks itself, job-site photos, purchase orders, the ACAT map.

Get paid

Estimates accepted online, invoices, payments, receipts scanned into the books, Canadian payroll.

What glued apps structurally cannot do, because they do not share a database:

A receipt becomes a bill

Photographed on the phone, read on owned hardware, geocoded, confirmed by a person, posted as an AP entry in the right project's books.

28bs · 28ca

A call becomes memory

Named in milliseconds, recorded with consent into your own storage, transcribed, tagged onto the customer's timeline — the one the foreman sees on the roof.

28aw · 28au · 28di

A day becomes a paycheque

Leaving home, picking up the crew, arriving, lunch, leaving — time events without typing, paid by the payroll module in the same database.

28bp–28bs · 28cf

It bends around how your crew already works, and keeps what would otherwise fall through the cracks: an event with nobody to attach to yet is kept, not lost.

Perfect memory · ACAT

Every touchpoint, tagged to the right customer the instant it arrives.

ACAT, the All-Channel Activity Timeline, writes every event twice and never overwrites. A fast first pass matches phone numbers, addresses and names to your records in milliseconds; a second pass reads the content and appends intent, keywords and sentiment. Reads never wait on an AI model, and an AI outage never loses a record.

The timeline

Calls, recordings, texts, email, web-form leads, receipts, job-site photos and canvassed houses on one customer record — on the desktop and in FieldOps.

28di · Oct 9

The map, day by day

Each location's pipeline day by day, with sentiment and intent heat.

28do · Oct 10

The relationship graph

Customers, contacts, locations and vendors connected; sentiment flows from a message to the contact's score to the review gate.

28as · Sep 20

Who said what

Recordings transcribed with speaker turns; the second pass fills intent, keywords and sentiment.

28dy · Oct 14

Honest notes: both passes write to one append-only mentions table, kept apart by which pass wrote each row. The second pass's AI read was dark on production from Sep 22 and restored Oct 13 (28dx). A 3D view of the map and overlays on photos and drone footage are on the roadmap — elevation and camera pose are already captured.

AI & MCP

Bring the AI you already use. It operates the software.

ATLASS ships a native MCP server, so an assistant you already pay for can drive your business through one audited connection — with scoped tokens you mint, revoke and audit yourself. The same rules bind the in-app assistant.

217 tools on production

Every screen has a door: each tool is a thin door over the same endpoint the screen uses. 72 have a measured hit-rate; the rest are a disclosed gap.

tool inventory · Oct 14

An agent can write estimates

Create or revise a draft estimate through the same writer as the screen; it can never trample an edit you made by hand.

28dy · Oct 14

Asks before it acts

The assistant asks before deletes, sends and money, and honours your Allow exactly once.

28ce · Oct 5

Never more than you

The in-app assistant cannot act beyond the member's own permissions.

28bb · Sep 24

Consent is frozen

A token's tool list is sealed when you mint it; new tools never slip into an old consent.

gate · agent-token freeze

Screen and AI, both ways

GUI–MCP parity is a build rule: 1,112 of 1,112 work items were forced to name their screen and their MCP door; 366 name both, the rest say why not.

punch list · Oct 14

Get paid · documents, books & payroll

Real double-entry books, in the same place you win the work.

Not a money tab glued onto a project tool. Every estimate, invoice, payment, receipt and pay cheque posts explicit journal entries — and an independent arithmetic check certifies the books before every release.

Accepted online

The customer accepts the estimate from a link; the deposit request is booked as a customer deposit, never as sales.

28bn · Sep 28

Receive Payment, done right

Apply, re-apply and split payments and credits across invoices; a bounced cheque reverses everything it touched.

28dy · Oct 14

Never billed twice

An estimate, change order or progress bill cannot bill the same work twice, through any door.

28cl · 28cn · Oct 7

Receipts from the phone

ScanSnap reads the receipt, you confirm what the machine read, and it posts as the right vendor bill.

28bs · Sep 30

Canadian payroll

Pay cheques issued from the screen by cheque or e-transfer, stubs emailed; timesheets as a pay-period grid.

28cf · Oct 5

GST periods stay filed

Every door that posts GST refuses a date inside a return you have already filed.

28dy · Oct 14

Payroll and GST are calculated and recorded here; you file with CRA. Nothing is transmitted to a government agency on your behalf.

Deliver · Boards, crew time & payroll

Timesheets that fill themselves. Payroll from the screen.

The crew's phones record the day — leaving home, picking up the crew, arriving on site, breaks, departure — and the hours land in ATLASS. Timesheets show a pay period as a grid; pay cheques are issued from the screen and post to the books. Boards shows every project's stages planned against actual.

The day records itself

Auto clock-in when the truck leaves home; crew pick-ups and site departures detected; a check-in wizard for the rest.

28bq · 28bs · Sep 30

Hours reach ATLASS

FieldOps hours land on the employee's timesheet; every employee can get a proper login.

28bj · Sep 26

A pay period as a grid

One 14-day spreadsheet per period; the owner's draw splits itself from the books.

28bl · Sep 27

Pay from the screen

Cheque or e-transfer, stub emailed, posted to the books; payroll checks every cheque.

28cf · Oct 5

Boards v1

Four-column project kanban drilling into a stage grid and a drag-and-resize timeline: who is ahead, who is behind.

28dy · Oct 14

Crew plan on the phone

Who is on which project tomorrow, set and read from FieldOps.

28bt · Oct 1

Payroll is calculated and recorded here; you file with CRA. A full crew-day timesheet with overrides is next.

The S.I.M.P.L.E. Phone System

Your business line, answered, recorded, transcribed — and remembered.

Your business line runs on ATLASS: calls are named before they ring, recorded and transcribed, and the conversation lands on the customer's record by itself — on the desktop and on the foreman's phone.

Named before it rings

The caller is named from your records, the carrier and a spam list before your phone rings; recording is disclosed when ATLASS answers.

28aw · Sep 22

Who said what

Upload a call or meeting recording and read it back with speaker turns, ACAT tags, intent and sentiment.

28dy · Oct 14

The whole history, on the phone

One customer's calls, texts, email, forms and notes in FieldOps — recordings stream, the last page works offline.

28di · Oct 9

Text from the field

Read and send customer texts from inside FieldOps on the business's own lines; the thread lands on the timeline.

28cp · Oct 7

Every forwarded call explained

Rang for how long, answered or not, voicemail suspected, escalation fired — per leg.

28bc · Sep 24

An operator line that listens

Call or text any number through the company line, by voice — still logged and recorded.

28bl · Sep 27

S.I.M.P.L.E. — Spatial Intelligence · Integrated Marketing · Management & Production · Production Logistics · Ledger & Financials · Ecosystem: the phone carries its I, M and E. Disclosed: per-employee customer-facing numbers wait on carrier registration; photos texted to the main line are an open defect (PL-1111).

Deliver · the ATLASS ecosystem

The office comes to the jobsite.

Native apps on the crew's phones, with no server or database of their own — every byte lands in ATLASS through the same audited doors the desktop uses.

Atlass FieldOps

Crew time that tracks itself, check-ins, the crew plan, customer texts and the customer's whole history.

LiveAndroid

ScanSnap

Photograph a receipt; it is read, confirmed and posted to the books.

LiveAndroid · in FieldOps

ProjectCam

Full-quality job-site photos with place, time and camera heading, filed to the project.

LiveAndroid · in FieldOps

CanvassCam

Walk a street, snap each house; every house becomes a location, every street a mailing.

LiveAndroid

Atlass Overhead

Drone and phone photos become roof-and-wall measurements and Xactimate-ready quote, report and takeoff PDFs, filed on the project.

Live · doorSeparate app · files into ATLASS

Disclosed: installed on the founder's own phone; no app-store listing. An agent that builds the full estimate from Overhead's measurements is R&D.

FieldOps 0.2.0 → 0.22.0 in 30 days: 42 release notes (Sep 13 – Oct 13). Tracking 28bq · auto-detect 28bs · crew plan 28bt · ScanSnap 28bs · ProjectCam 28bz · CanvassCam 28cv · Overhead 28ci/28cj. Running on the founder's own phone today; no app-store listing claimed.

Grow · marketing & leads

Marketing that remembers.

The offline-to-online funnel, measured at every step without storing a visitor's identity — and every touch lands on ACAT, so the next campaign knows who is warm.

Canvass

CanvassCam snaps each house; each becomes a location waiting to be adopted.

28cv · Oct 8

Mail

A street becomes printed letters with a QR code per house.

28cw · Oct 8

Claim

The homeowner claims their house from the letter; nobody is signed up until their inbox says yes.

28cx · 28dm

Retarget

The letter's scan feeds the retargeting tiers — only people who said yes — and the office sees the funnel.

28dh · 28dn · Oct 9

Product & Colour Library

Manufacturers, product lines, colours and brochures for your own website. Every published image is a stripped copy — no GPS, no camera metadata, no scripts.

28dz · Oct 14

Built, not sending

Campaign audiences are built from the same memory — sentiment, stage, tags, radius — consent-filtered, with retargeting tiers linked to GA4. Nothing is sent to an ad platform yet. The instant roof estimate is built and parked too.

Security & operations

Built to be trusted with your books.

The controls are written down and enforced by machines: a release cannot reach production while a gate is red or could not check.

An audit log nobody can rewrite

Database triggers plus revoked delete rights, measured before and after on production.

28l · Sep 3

Your business, walled off

Every query is scoped to your business; a scanner fails the build otherwise, and Postgres row-level security backs it up.

gate · tenant scoping

Backups that restore

Backups are a release gate; a drill restored 351 of 351 tables and re-certified the books on the copy.

28by · Oct 4

Books certified by arithmetic

Debits equal credits; receivable and payable subledgers tie to the ledger — checked from raw tables at every release.

gate · money invariants

AI cannot hard-delete

Agents only soft-delete; a person empties the trash.

28ag · Sep 13

A receipt for every release

A 23-item checklist and 240 CI gates run before every deploy; the notes are written before the push.

28dz · Oct 14

Honest lines: release 28dz shipped with checklist item 12 red — on purpose, with the reason written down; a gate allowed to fail in writing is the point. ACAT's inferring layer was dark on production for three weeks; our own refuter found it and the fix shipped the next day. First customer: the founder's own roofing company — dogfooded, pre-revenue.

What we do not claim: SOC 2 certification (the controls are built; no audit yet). The Content-Security-Policy runs in report-only mode. Permission checks cover 83% of write doors overall and 95% of money doors (census, Oct 4). Two-step sign-in is not built yet.

A C-suite that is always in the room.

A team meeting whenever you want one. No scheduling conflicts. Each C-suite position is an agent — CEO, CFO, COO, CMO — and each employee has an agent carrying months of operational context on compliance and performance, ready to bring to the board room at the drop of a hat.

Coming soon. The AD documents file the C-suite itself as Phase 4; "months of operational context" is the design, not a measured history yet.

It stands on what ACAT already remembers: every call, job, hour, photo and dollar, per employee and per customer. None of it is in production yet.

Agents that are members

Each persona runs as a real member of the business, with that member's permissions; its memory is scoped by the server and every AI memory write is audited.

Built on a branch

Ava, the executive assistant

Reads your inbound texts and email and drafts replies for you to approve; honours STOP; a reply only ever goes to whoever wrote. Built and tested, switched off.

Built on a branch

One set of doors for every agent

The in-app AI and outside agents call the same tools, with the same permission checks, audit rows and refusals.

Built on a branch

C-suite seats

CEO, CFO and the rest as views on one engine, with a group chat and @mentions — the board meets when you open it.

Next

An agent per employee

Months of ACAT context on compliance and performance, brought to the meeting on demand.

Roadmap

Guard-rails first

No tenant runs unattended until a per-business daily AI cap is set; outbound AI calling waits on a written legal read.

The stack it replaces typically runs $370–430/month CAD for a 4-person crew (compared July 2026).

Why it exists

Built by a roofer, for contractors tired of QuickBooks + spreadsheets.

This wasn't designed in a boardroom. It was built by a roofing contractor who lost leads in voicemails, retyped customers into three tools, and couldn't square the job he won with the money he booked. Right Side Roofing runs on it first — every feature is used on the founder's own crew day before it reaches anyone else.

Dogfooded daily

The founder clocks in as foreman, scans receipts and texts customers through ATLASS.

Refuted before it ships

Every change gets an adversarial review; money work routinely fails review twice before it is allowed to merge.

Honest about scope

One founder directing an AI engineering team. Not a big vendor, not yet audited — and it says so.
